Another favorite! I thought I was doomed feeling a very unwelcome sore, dry throat which soon gave way to relentless coughing. Instead of caving in and calling myself sick—-I armed myself with this spray and in three days, I reign triumphant!!!

It happened.  It may have happened once before but doesn’t always happen to me. This is why I love yoga.

In today’s yoga class, as we were cooling down in hip openers,  I was deep in agnistambhasan (double pidgin), feeling good.  I surrendered to the pose, breathing in the resistance and stretching further. I was in a meditative state.  My favorite color palettes of purple came to my mind’s eye.  I felt content and peaceful. Then without warning, my emotions came streaming through. Tears streamed down my face, a mixture of sadness and happiness.  It was a releasing of the frustrations and sadness that have been clouding my life for so long.  It left me with an indescribable feeling of peace and gratitude.  It’s an amazing feeling…
